British Equestrian honours athletes & industry figures at Badminton Horse Trials
In 2022 at Badminton Horse Trials, Jane received the British Equestrian Medal of Honour, in recognition of completing acts of international endeavour in equestrian sport, and for outstanding services to the BEF or its Member Bodies. Jane was BEF Director of Equine Development for 8-years to 2020, appearing on Horse&Country TV as Consultant Vet to the Futurity Young Horse Evaluation, Bridge & Pathway schemes. The BEF is the UK Olympic equestrian sports governing body.

Jane offers equine vet consultancy on the performance & management of the competition horse—from day 1 of its life to the pinnacle of its competitive career and beyond—to horse owners, on a referral basis. Jane's willingness to share her knowledge, gained over many years within equine educational networks, culminated in her receiving the Medal of Honour. Jane's work is always conducted with permission of the owner’s veterinarian or appropriate para-professional. Jane is happy to consult remotely or in person within travelling distance of her Buckinghamshire base. Jane also continues to work closely, in a consultancy capacity, with Buckingham Equine Vets, who provide 24-hour cover for local clients.
